Alfred Rosu
Alfred Rosu is the CEO of JMJ Hospitality Consulting. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and a U.S. Army veteran with extensive experience across the hospitality, real estate, and defense industries.
Alongside his distinguished service in the Army Reserves, Alfred has spent more than 40 years building a career in the hospitality and real estate sectors. He began as an analyst at JP Morgan and later worked as a retail broker at CBRE, where he earned recognition as one of the firm’s top producers.
He subsequently founded a boutique real estate brokerage, consulting, and development firm specializing in hospitality. Over the years, he has co-founded several startup ventures, including an aerospace engineering company—established after earning his private pilot’s license—and a commercial bakery that served over 1,000 delis, restaurants, and hotels throughout the New York City area. These ventures helped him build strong, lasting partnerships across the hospitality industry.
In addition, Alfred has developed, franchised, and leased hundreds of restaurants both in the United States and internationally.
He holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University and has completed graduate studies in Law and International Relations at NYU. He also taught National Security Strategy at the National Defense University (NDU) in Washington, DC.
Throughout his career, Alfred has served as a trusted advisor to CEOs, generals, ambassadors, and secretaries of state. He brings deep expertise from both the private and public sectors to his leadership role at JMJ Hospitality Consulting.
